As the school year begins, Hill Country Health and Wellness Center is looking for a new Youth Program Coordinator to help organize and oversee activities for teens in the Intermountain area.
The Center is looking for an emotionally mature person at least 24 years of age with a warm, engaging personality who has experience working with teens and young adults. An AA degree is preferred. A class C drivers license is required.
This is a half-time position that would require less that 30 hours a week working afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. Compensation will depend on experience.
Youth Program Coordinator would help plan and implement after-school activities at Intermountain Teen Center locations in Burney and Round Mountain including group activities, movie nights, dances, games, health classes, and sports.
The coordinator would also be responsible for organizing at least one special activity a month and two overnight trips a year. Monthly activities could include hikes, museum field trips, community events, or concerts. Overnight trips would involve camping, rafting, college field trips, and other worthwhile activities.
The Youth Program coordinator will work with and under the supervision of the Discovery/Recovery Coach of the Behavioral Health Department at Hill Country Health and Wellness Center.
