The Word of Life Assembly of God is holding it’s Operation Warm Winter Giveaway on Friday November 11 from 3-6 p.m. at their church on Main Street in Burney.
Anybody in the community in need of warm winter coats, hats, gloves and other clothing is welcome. Kathy Newton said, “We have some really nice things.”
Items that remain will be donated to the Good News Rescue Mission in Redding. If people would like to bring new or clean gently used clothing to donate they are welcome to do so.
Operation Warm Winter also provides new coats and boots to elementary school children at the school on an individual needs basis. For more information about Operation Warm Winter call 335-4419.
